A UTI is an infection in any part of the urinary system, usually the bladder or urethra. Most UTIs in women are uncomplicated, meaning they are straightforward to treat without needing referral to a GP or hospital.

Under the NHS Pharmacy First scheme, eligible women can access free advice and treatment for uncomplicated UTIs. Our pharmacists will:

• Offer NHS-funded antibiotics if appropriate

• Provide advice on symptom relief, hydration, and preventing future UTIs
