Job Description
Wellbeing Pharmacy United Kingdom Limited are searching for at least an NVQ Level 2 Qualified Dispenser (L2 Pharmacy Services or Dispensing Assistant).
PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU HAVE NO UK NVQ LEVEL 2 IN PHARMACY SERVICES OR UK DISPENSING — We do NOT accept UK post-graduate studies as qualification, this is a vocational qualified position, and you will be blocked by the Company for other positions if you do not understand this.
If you have no training from Buttercups, City & Guilds, a Local College in England, Skills4Pharmacy, Boots, Coop, Well, Lloyds, etc, you are not qualified to Apply regardless of your PhD or Masters (they do not count).
The role requires Saturday working. Wellbeing Pharmacy is a UKVI sponsoring organisation, however, we prefer those already trained in community pharmacy with an existing PSW.
We will accept those transferring their training to us on condition that they are not encumbered by previous employment training conditions.
We will NOT ENTERTAIN overseas applicants outside the EU without an existing PSW, you will be blocked.
Duties/Responsibilities
The role is mainly supporting the pharmacist in the Dispensary taking the bulk of the responsibility in dispensing and thereby allowing the pharmacist to provide more services to local residents. You will be required to work on Saturdays and up to 7pm during some of the weekdays. You need to be efficient and able to handle all dispensing processes as follows:
- Ordering dispensary stock and resourcing efficiently items that are difficult to obtain using company SOP and protocols
- Assembling, labelling and handing out prescriptions
- Dispensing into MDS trays, and speaking to patients about this limited service
- Handling medicines waste and returns.
- Answering dispensary queries and following up with patients when medication are waiting for stock
- Managing delivery schedule of meds and also ordering prescription related to patient with disability
- Ensuring the dispensary is in good order, storing stocks appropriately and performing date checks on time.
- Supporting the pharmacist in any services and dispensing claims
- Supporting the pharmacist in handling, storage and dispensing of CD medicines
- And being flexible in your work tasks to support business needs.

The branch is situated in a high street near Fleet. The branch operates with an experienced Store Manager who deals with customer services and retail to allow the clinical team timely dispensing of medicines.
